The short version
I've spent 15+ years building, operating, and investing in tech and AI businesses across Asia-Pacific. I co-founded Lazada Singapore as part of the founding team that built Alibaba Group's e-commerce footprint in Southeast Asia, and served as COO running end-to-end operations: finance, HR, supply chain, logistics, last-mile delivery, and warehousing. Today I lead a multi-billion-dollar P&L with +86% Operating Profit improvement and an enterprise AI transformation in payments. I built and launched an agent-based AI framework for enterprise automation on track to deliver eight-figure-plus cost savings. Across these roles, I've led teams up to 400 across multiple regions.
The thread across all of it: I do the work. I've sat in P&L meetings on Monday and shipped production code on Tuesday. I think senior executives who still build, actually build, not direct people who build, make sharper decisions and get radically better at their jobs over time. This site is part of that.
What I'm known for
The wedge is: builder, operator, investor, applied to the frontier of business and tech. Not a vendor. Not a consultant. Someone who's lived through scaling tech and AI businesses and is willing to write down what works.
The arc, in chapters: BNP Paribas Investment Banking analyst (Paris-Singapore) · Rocket Internet regional marketing across 8 SEA markets · Lazada Group Head of Payments & Fraud (6 markets) · Lazada Singapore co-founder & COO (operations across finance, HR, supply chain, logistics, last-mile, warehousing) · Lazada Group CPO and Chief Marketplace Logistics (6 countries, 100k+ sellers, +4B GMV) · CAXE Technologies CPO/COO (VC-backed fintech across Philippines and Indonesia) · Amazon Payments Japan (Product Lead → Head of Gift Cards → Applied AI Product Lead) · angel investor with a 33% IPO rate (3 investments since 2020, 1 IPO with successful exit).
What I'm working on
Day job: leading enterprise AI transformation in a regulated payments business. The hardest, most interesting problem in AI right now isn't capability, it's absorption. The gap between what AI can do and what enterprises can actually deploy and sustain. I write about this in Where AI Is Heading and AI-DLC.
Side: this site, the S&P 500 StockPicker, and a multi-agent research pipeline that produces every article in Thinking. All built personally with AI tooling. The site you're on is the proof of the "Builder" claim.

MBA in Banking & Finance (Summa Cum Laude) from Université Panthéon-Assas (Paris II), and Master's & Bachelor's in Corporate Finance from Université Paris Dauphine. Exchange year at Sogang University in Seoul (Dean's Scholarship; LG Electronics HQ placement). Earlier: Prépa Franklin and Lycée Les Chartreux in Lyon, the French elite track from high school onward.
